Saxifraga stolonifera 'Shanghai' CBCH1462 Available May/June
A form of stolonifera collected from the Shanghai area in eastern China by Cedric Basset. An evergreen species with beautiful, small, white, starry flowers and rosettes of fleshy, rounded dark green leaves (that turn lighter in colour in summer), which are frilled at the edges. Plants spread by fine, long stolons with little plantlets at the tips. Height 40 cm. Moist, well-drained soil in part to full shade. Perfect for a spot in a shady rock or woodland garden and an excellent choice for underplanting.
