Begonia taliensis EDHCH042
Begonia taliensis is a spectacular tuberous species with black and silver patterned foliage and pink flowers. This is an Eric Hammond collection from China in 1997. Flowering September to November. Height up to 35cm. The plant emerges late from June. Requires a sheltered, woodland type situation in a well-drained, moisture retentive soil (keep drier in winter). This species has proven fully hardy in the south of England but we would recommend it is protected from frost in other areas.
