A Daniel Hinkley, Bleddyn and Sue Wynn-Jones collection from east Nepal, producing rough textured, palmate leaves, beautifully marbled in silver and brown, and pretty, white flowers from late summer into autumn. Height 60 cm. The plant emerges late from June. Part shade in a cool, sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. Not tested for hardiness, though could be hardy to -5 C to -8 C (with a winter mulch), so for colder climates we would suggest growing it as a potted specimen in the garden and bringing it in before the first frosts.
