A new and wonderful, unknown, cane-type species collected in Taiwan that produces erect stems and amazing, silvery-toothed, angel-winged leaves (the new growth has pinkish tones). Similar in general appearance to B. taiwaniana but a hundred times more dramatic. Height 50 cm. Full to part shade in a cool, sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. Not hardy. Grow as a potted specimen in the garden and bring in before the first frosts.
