A highly unusual Silene species that is native to the mountains of Bulgaria. Produces glossy, clump-forming rosettes and tall, upright, round heads comprised of many individual, carmine flowers which bear attractive, blue stamens. Flowering June to July. Height 90 cm. Full sun to part shade in moisture retentive soil.
