Rheum cordatum from Kazakhstan
Plants are grown from seeds collected from Kondai Pass, Kazakhstan by Aleksandr Naumenko. Produces distinctive, large, wrinkled leaves and spires of creamy-white flowers followed by red fruits. Flowering May to June. Height 50 to 80 cm. Moist, humus rich, well-drained soil in sun to semi-shade with plenty of space and deep soil to grow well.
