A short lived, self seeding perennial native to Sichuan and Yunnan, China with pretty, white and pink flowers held on erect stems and distinctive, silver markings on the leaves with dark purple dots to the undersides. This species came to us from a seed exchange many years ago as Lysimachia taliensis but we have since discovered it is in fact Lysimachia lichiangensis (you will find the latter's name wrongly used on the internet on numerous photos of a Lysimachia with yellow flowers!). Both are very similar in appearance though the true L. taliensis has much narrower foliage. Flowering August into autumn. Height 35 to 80 cm. Moist, well-drained soil in part sun to part shade.
