A newly introduced, unknown, rhizomatous, perennial species collected from the high Himalayas, producing wavy, margined, green leaves edged in red, and white flowers in autumn. Height 30 cm. Full to part shade in a cool, sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. Not fully hardy. Protect from frosts.
