Originally collected in Yunnan, China. A robust species with flat, green leaves and large heads of star-shaped, greenish-white flowers from summer into autumn. In Asia the plant’s leaves, bulbs and flowers are eaten as vegetables. Height 30 cm. Moist, well-drained soil in full sun to part-shade.
