A Patrick Blanc collection from the archipelago of Izu, Japan. A very rare species in cultivation that is native to shady, moist rocks on low mountains in Japan, China and Vietnam - which is highly unusual for a Sedum species! Quickly forms dense clumps of pea-green, tufted, slender, creeping stems with small, yellow, starry flowers in summer. Height 10 cm. Wet or moisture retentive soil in shade. Hardy to -6C to -8C.
