Primula sikkimensis CC
The plants we offer have been grown by us from seed from Chris Chadwell’s expedition to the Himalayas in 2015. A native of the alpine meadows and stream edges of Nepal, Sikkim and Yunnan, China that produces large umbels of sweetly fragrant, pendant, pale sulphur-yellow flowers atop dense whorls of lanceolate leaves. Flowers June to July. Height 20 to 60 cm. Favours moisture retentive, humus rich, well-draining soil in shade or part shade.
