A Melanoseris species with a strong affinity to Melanoseris cyanea. Previously sold as Melanoseris or Paraprenanthes sp. W/O-7169. The plants we offer have been grown by us from seed collected by August Wu and Bjørnar Olsen in Sichuan, China at 2930 metres. Plants produce numerous pretty, Chicory-type, violet-blue, flowers on tall stems in late summer into autumn. Height 1.6 metres. Moisture retentive, well-drained soil in part sun to part shade.
