A rare sub-shrub that is native to the Himalayas, eastern Tibet and western China, with fragrant, penstemon-like, tubular, soft pink flowers in summer on arching stems and very attractive, glossy, almost fern-like foliage. Height 80 cm. Rich, well-drained soil in full sun to light shade.
