We will be adding brand new plants and re-stocking until late autumn, so please keep checking back.
We offer 9cm size plants, as well as healthy, peat-free plug plants with well-established roots. The majority of our plants and plugs are grown outside so are already acclimatised to life outside, some however are protected in our tunnels from late frosts and our high winds (if they require hardening off then a note to this effect will be added to the packing slip). Unless specified, all plants we offer have proven to be hardy here in rural, southern Scotland.
A confirmation email will be sent once you have completed your order and again when it is dispatched - if you think you have not received one, please check your Junk or Spam folder before contacting us.
We recommend planting out your plants upon receipt and potting up plugs into 9cm pots for 4 weeks before putting in the ground (however, some like Saxifraga stolonifera can be popped straight into the garden). An advantage of buying younger plants is that they will adapt better to your individual growing conditions. We have only been selling plug plants since last year and they have proved very popular. Here are a few quotes from our customers:
"Thank you for my order, such big strong plug plants, they are the best I've ever had and packed so well." Rosalind F
"Excellent quality plug plants. Large, well rooted, and perfectly packaged, they arrived in pristine condition." Helen B

Please make sure you have everything you want in your cart as, once you have paid for your order, we cannot combine additional orders into one parcel and refund shipping charges - it can cause confusion, and it costs us time and money to refund your card.
Seeds can be combined with any plant order as long as they are ordered at the same time. Plant orders will be sent by Royal Mail 24 hour tracked service, link to delivery rates here. Our current dispatch timeframe is within 2 weeks.
9cm sized plants and plugs are removed from their pots and trays before being boxed and carefully packed inside biodegradable bags so their roots will be kept moist for the journey to you. As we do not include plastic care labels, please see each item's page for suitable growing instructions. All our packaging materials are fully recyclable.
