Tupistra nutans SOLD OUT
A rarely offered, rhizomatous, clump-forming species that is native to the forests of the eastern Himalayas. It is related to Aspidistra and produces tall, upright, glossy, evergreen, narrow leaves and unusual, pendulous, purple and yellow flowers in winter to early spring. Height 1 m. Sheltered site in moist, well-drained, humus rich soil in part to full shade. Hardy to -5 C with a winter mulch. Keep frost free if grown in a pot.
