A beautiful, perennial, Umbellifer species that is native to the meadows of the Himalayas. Produces very attractive, fern-like foliage, purple-red stems and flat, white heads of flowers (that are adored by bees and hover flies) followed by attractive seed heads. Makes a superb plant for borders. Flowering August to October. Height 1.2 m. Moist, well-drained soil in sun to part shade.
