Podophyllum delavayi Chinese Mayapple SOLD OUT
A wonderful, foliage plant, native to the woodlands of southern China, that produces large, dramatic, toothed and heavily patterned leaves and clusters of hanging, red flowers followed by almost black fruits (these should not be eaten as they are toxic). The coloured mottling to the leaf of the P. delavayi species is highly variable. Height to 45 cm. Cool, moist, humus rich in part shade.
