Impatiens gomphophylla SOLD OUT
A tuberous, perennial species, rare in cultivation that is native to the open grasslands of southeast Africa. Produces tall, upright stems with unusual, bicoloured, red, orange and yellow, 3-4 cm long flowers. Flowers July to September. Height up to 1.5 m. Moist, rich, well-drained soil, positioned in good light. Keep on the dry side over winter. Proven hardy to -5C in some parts of the south of England with a winter mulch.
