Begonia species 168 'Selection' SOLD OUT
1 packet of approximately 100+, naturally small, hand pollinated, fresh seeds. A selected plant grown from wild collected seeds from an unknown tuberous species from China. Produces large, dark green leaves with attractive silver markings and pale pink flowers. Height 80 cm. Full to part shade in a cool, sheltered position in moist, humus rich, well-drained soil. We have not tested how hardy this species is, so we would suggest growing it as a potted specimen in the garden and bringing it in before the first frosts. Before purchasing, please do an internet search for instructions on how to grow Begonias from seed as, due to their size, they may be difficult to grow for inexperienced gardeners (and instructions will not be sent). FRESH SEEDS AVAILABLE IN THE AUTUMN.
