A rare, creeping, woodland species in the Saxifrage family, collected from the mountains in the Hiroshima area of Japan. Attractive, toothed, hairy, green leaves and spikes of intricate, miniature, green and red flowers. Height 25 cm. Flowering April to May. Moist, well-drained soil in part to full shade.
