A beautiful form of the species collected by the Swedish Expedition to Pakistan (S.E.P.) and named after the mountain in Pakistan where it was discovered. A compact, clump-forming, herbaceous, perennial plant that produces carmine rose flowers with dark red eyes and three-lobed, silky-haired, strawberry-like leaves. Flowering June to July. Height 15 to 20 cm. Ideal for the front of a border or rock garden. Sun to part shade in moist, well-drained soil.
GROWING INSTRUCTIONS:
Can be sown from autumn to June. Cover seed thinly, press in gently and keep top of compost from drying out. Keep pot cool over winter. Keep warm at 15 to 20°C in spring until germination, then move to somewhere cooler.
Carefully prick out seedlings when they have developed true leaves and are large enough to transplant to individual pots to grow on.
